Our new Vaux-Le-Vicomte Christmas Tour explores the castle life at its best during the holiday season with Vaux-Le-Vicomte’s special seasonal event’s 20th anniversary: “The Great Christmas”.Â
Your experience begins with hotel pickup in Paris and a comfortable drive of about 1h to Vaux-le-Vicomte. Along the way, your guide introduces the château’s fascinating history: how Nicolas Fouquet’s vision inspired Versailles, and how Le Vau, Le Brun, and Le Nôtre collaborated to create a masterpiece of architecture, decoration, and French garden design.
On arrival, enjoy a guided visit through the chateau’s ceremonial apartments, the Grand Salon, and other key rooms, all beautifully prepared with festive decorations for the special occasion. The château will provide costumes such as capes so that you can feel transported back to the 17th century.
After the visit of the interiors, your guide will take you to the exteriors to explore Le NĂ´tre’s symmetrical gardens with the comfort of golf carts, enjoying panoramic views and magical lights in a peaceful setting that is never overcrowded. Here, you will be able to take part in seasonal activities such as scavenger hunts or marshmallow roasting, adding a festive touch to your visit.Â
At the end of your visit, you will rejoin your driver together with your guide and relax on the comfortable journey back to Paris, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or preferred location.

Up to 7 days before the tour: full refund of the tour price, minus the cost of tickets.
6 to 4 days before the tour: 75% refund of the tour price, minus the cost of tickets.
4 to 2 days before the tour: 50% refund of the tour price, minus the cost of tickets.
Under 48 hours before the tour and no show: no refund.
Please note that a 5% booking fee is deducted from any refund amounts.
